We’ve been married for 27 years and our 2 kids are the greatest blessing in my life. We’re empty nesters (hard to believe sometimes!) and our schedules seem to be busier now than when we had kids at home. When our kids come home to visit or stop by in the shop, it makes this momma’s day. Being a wife and momma has been my greatest joy. The love and support from my family means so much to me. I’m especially grateful for my husband’s encouragement and pushing me beyond my comfort zone to pursue this business from the start.
When I’m not curating gifts and working in the shop, I’m a homebody at heart. We live on a beautiful piece of property in small town Texas, outside of Texas A&M. I’m a Texas girl, born and raised. We spend a lot of time outside, grilling, golfing (mainly my hubs!) and just enjoying our time with friends and family. Photography, horses, and reading are a few of my favorite things.
My husband and I have been blessed to travel and it’s something we love to do together. I’m always discovering new makers and products wherever we go. Our shop has become a collection of favorite things, full of stories waiting to be told and memories to be shared. It is a collection of sweet reminders of our time with one another, dear friends and family. Taking the time to hand select every product I choose to bring into our shop is important to me. I enjoy finding other small businesses, learning their stories, supporting other small businesses, and simply connecting all of our stories together. That’s why I believe the art of gifting is also the art of storytelling & connection.

Jackie, Shopgirl
Jackie, also known as my momma, was one of the first gift box gals in training before we had a brick + mortar shop. Anytime we’d travel out of town she was always willing to help assemble, ship & deliver gifts. She loves working in the shop, meeting new people, and talking to our customers. She’s the best at making sure everyone walks out the door with one of our brochures and knows all about what we offer (thanks, mom!).
When she isn’t helping in the shop, she loves spending time with her chocolate brown pup, Koko. He’s the sweetest, cuddliest, friendly, little guy. They both enjoy long walks together and simply being outdoors. She also loves anything near the water & watching the Hallmark channel, of course. Over the past 20 years, she has worked as a Procurement Specialist in the Oil & Gas field.

Faith Garza, Shopgirl
Faith is my sweet girl y’all! She’s the one that made me a momma and I’m so happy she loves to be a part of Blackberry & Honeysuckle. She has a full-time job outside of B&H, but loves to come help out when we have special events. I love bouncing ideas around with her and getting her input. She’s a pro product tester, I mean it’s practically a requirement if you’re a member of our family!
When Faith isn’t busy working during the week, she enjoys spending her time at home with her boyfriend, Polo, and their sweet little kitten. They love to travel together, work out in the gym, and take evening neighborhood walks. She also loves baking, cooking, and doing creative things in her free time such as puzzles, embroidery and watercoloring.
Faith recently started Midnight with Mom, born from the joyful late night baking sessions between the two of us (of course I fell in love with the name and the whole sentiment!!!). Her brand is rooted in love, comfort, and sweet peaceful memories in the kitchen. As a girl who loves both wellness and fitness, she thought why not have both?! All of her protein packed baked goods are made with high-quality, organic, farm fresh ingredients. Her hope is her treats will bring the same warmth, peach and joy they bring her!
Faith received her Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2020 (Gig ’em!), and her Master Degree in Science – Technology Project Management from the University of Houston in Spring of 2022.

Madison Duncan, Shopgirl
Madison joined our team in the beginning of summer in May 2025. She’s such a sweetheart! She is a sophomore at Texas A&M (we love our Aggies!) and is majoring in Hospitality and Hotel Management. The Phi Beta Phi Sorority is her home and she loves being a part of it. She has a warm, friendly presence and is a joy to have in our shop.
When Madison isn’t busy with school/sorority activities, she takes care of little ones in addition to working in the shop with us. She also enjoys spending time with family (especially her sister Paige!), reading, finding new recipes to make, working out & playing golf with friends and her dad.

Shannon Long, Shopgirl
Shannon joined our team in July of 2025. She has been a loyal customer of ours for years and we’re so blessed to have her on our team! After working in public education for 32 years, she retired. Right after she retired, she began working at Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach, where she was previously a volunteer. Shannon is the Director of Educational Programs and she loves being a part of this organization that supports and loves pregnant teens and young parents, while also showing them the love of Jesus Christ.
Shannon and her husband, Tony, have three daughters and two sons-in-law whom they adore. They also adore their two sweet Yorkies, Poppy & Piper. Shannon and Tony enjoy having her dad live with them as well. When Shannon isn’t busy working, she loves to spend her time with family and friends, going to Bible Study, reading, baking, antique shopping, playing mahjong or games of any kind.
Shannon graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and, although not an Aggie, has loved living in College Station for the last 25 years.
